Cookies will be used to recognize your browser for the duration of the relevant cookie’s validity and will send certain information back to the Site (e.g., language selection). Only the issuer of the relevant cookie is able to read or modify the information contained therein. There are different types of cookies:

  • Session cookies, which disappear as soon as you leave the Site;

For more information on the types of cookies, you can visit the website of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) on the dedicated page. Furthermore, it is important to distinguish between “strictly necessary” cookies for the proper functioning of the Site, for which your consent is not required, and “non-strictly necessary” cookies for which your consent is required. You can disable the cookies to which you have consented at any time, free of charge, using the deactivation options provided and mentioned below.

  • Cookies deposited by partners on our behalf (subcontractors) (cf. 7.6);
  • Cookies from third-party companies, data controllers specifically chosen to achieve specific objectives (cf. 7.7).

4. Purpose of cookies

Some cookies, exempt from consent, are essential for the use of the Site. These are the cookies we use to:

  • Keep your session active;
  • Record your cookie-related choices. Certain cookies requiring your prior consent are used by our Site for the following purposes:
  • Analyze and measure the audience of the Site and improve its performance;
  • Personalize advertising.

5. Consent

5.1 Cookies used for strictly necessary purposes In accordance with the Applicable Data Protection Regulation, we do not request your consent to use these cookies as they are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the Site.

5.2 Cookies used for non-strictly necessary purposes We will only store or read non-strictly necessary cookies on your device and process associated Personal Data (or allow our partners to do so) if you have given and not withdrawn your consent.

5.3 How to provide your consent for non-strictly necessary cookies During your first visit to our Site, an invitation will be issued for the purpose of obtaining your consent regarding non-strictly necessary cookies. You can accept all of them by selecting “Accept All” or decline them by selecting “Reject All.” You can also provide specific consent for each distinct purpose by clicking on the “Preference Center” link. When you accept or reject the placement of cookies, a cookie is deposited on your device for a period of 14 months to record your choice. If you delete this cookie, it will no longer be possible to identify whether you have accepted or rejected the use of cookies. Therefore, the choice regarding cookies will be offered to you again during your next visit to the Site. It is noted that simply continuing to browse without clicking on one of the options offered by this Cookie banner is considered a refusal of consent. In the event of refusal of consent for non-strictly necessary cookies, no cookies will be deposited, and we will not process any associated Personal Data. Any use of a cookie or associated Personal Data prior to the withdrawal of your consent will be valid and legal.

5.4 Consequences of refusing/withdrawing your consent to cookies If you refuse or withdraw your consent to the use of non-strictly necessary cookies, the functionality or corresponding functionalities of the Site may not work correctly or at all. Your use of the core features of the Site will not be affected. If you disable strictly necessary cookies (or all cookies) using your Internet browser settings, one or more core functions and features of the Site, including those designed to ensure your visit is safe and secure, may not work correctly or at all.

6. Cookie management

You can manage and modify the use of cookies at any time using the following options:

  • Directly on our Site, via the preference center, accessible at any time on all pages of the Site; or
  • Through your Internet browser; or
  • From opposition platforms.

6.1 Preference Center The Preference Center is a module that allows you to choose which cookies you want to accept or reject on our Site. At any time, by clicking on the icon at the bottom left of your screen, you can access the Preference Center.

6.2 Internet Browser Settings You can configure your Internet browser to either allow cookies to be saved on your device or to reject them, either systematically or according to their issuer. You can also regularly delete cookies from your device via your Internet browser. The configuration of each Internet browser is different. For example:

  • For Internet Explorer™;
  • For Safari™;
  • For Chrome™;
  • For Firefox™;
  • For Opera™. Please be aware that by configuring your browser to reject cookies, certain features, pages, and areas of the Site that require the use of cookies may not be accessible, for which we cannot be held responsible. For more information on how to configure your Internet browsers, we invite you to consult the CNIL website.

6.3 Opposition Platforms Several advertising industry platforms also offer you the possibility to refuse or accept cookies used by member companies. These centralized mechanisms do not block the display of advertisements but only prevent the installation of cookies that allow the adaptation of advertisements to your interests and behaviors. For example, you can visit the website www.youronlinechoices.com to prohibit the installation of these cookies on your device. This site is provided by digital advertising professionals gathered within the European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) and managed in France by the Interactive Advertising Bureau France. You can thus learn about the companies registered on this platform that offer you the opportunity to refuse or accept cookies they use to tailor advertisements displayed on your browser based on the data they collect. This European platform is shared by hundreds of online advertising professionals and serves as a centralized interface for you to express your refusal or acceptance of cookies as specified above.
